In any business, teamwork and collaboration are essential for success, and that idea has been part of TPC’s DNA from the beginning.
Members of TPC’s Pharmacy, Laboratory, Perioperative, Cardiology/Diagnostic Imaging, and Medical/Wound Care Clinical Value Analysis Teams, as well as the Revenue Cycle Council and Support Services Council gathered in respective breakout groups to close out their 2019 work plans and to begin planning for 2020 projects.
Let’s face it, dealing with healthcare bills can often be more stressful than the health issue at hand. But Cody Waldrop, VP of Revenue Cycle at TPC, attests that it doesn’t have to be that way. Waldrop explains where there’s room for improvement in this episode of TPC Talks.

However, with more large, multi-national corporations entering the healthcare space and edging out smaller institutions in terms of market share, these independent organizations are struggling to maximize efficiencies, control costs and stay sustainable as independent hospitals or smaller health systems.
